Methodology & Sources

We took information about popular tool brands from the official websites of companies. Many companies included in the chart are engaged not only in the production of the tools. Therefore, there are significantly more brands in their portfolio than are included in the infographic.

But we were interested in the business segment of Tools. We opened sections of corporate websites, studied all brands, and selected only those that relate to tools.

For example, Stanley Black & Decker own more than 30 brands:
